About the documentary

The Eagle Obsession is a feature-length documentary directed by sci-fi creator Jeffrey Morris. It investigates the origins of the iconic Eagle vessel from Space: 1999 and the connection between this fictional spacecraft and NASA's actual Lunar Module — tracing how a piece of 1970s television design influenced generations of astronauts, engineers and filmmakers.

The film premiered in 2025 in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Space: 1999 and is currently screening at film festivals and exclusive events worldwide.

BusinessFilm's role

BusinessFilm was contracted as the Danish production unit. We handled all filming on Danish soil — from interview setups and location work to lighting, sound and on-the-day direction.
